  • Fragrance and aroma of dark fruits, notes of black tea, strawberry, berries, aftertaste of rose, melon and dried fruit. Very mellow citrus acidity, soft and delicate light/medium body. Complex cup profile.
  • The complexity of this coffee really stands out! We prefer to maintain this complexity with very light roasts. Roasting into the medium range will soften some of the florals and subtle acidity while bringing the fruit and sweetness to the front.

All of the energy consumed by the farm is 100% renewable energy harvested on the farm. This energy supplies power to the coffee mill and provides a portion of free electricity for some of the people who live and work at the farm. The green energy is harvested from a natural water stream with a special turbine, known as a Pelton Wheel.

Some of my favorite beans from Hacea!

Tons of fruit and very vibrant. Pretty forgiving to roast. This is the bean I've gone back and ordered the most often from Hacea.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, Michael! I recommend checking out the caturra variety from Hacienda Sonora as well.

Love cups like this.

Layered cup with good body. Roasts quiet quickly so I drop it under a minute in the last phase. Tasty a big hit over here.
