detailed dive into the science of coffee brewing

I currently roast coffee but do not have a storefront, so I'd consider myself a brewing novice. This class went into understanding the science of brewing - extraction, TDS, fun formulas and how your water will greatly affect your brew. We then went through different brew methods and tasted the same roast through those various methods. This is a great experiential class and an excellent opportunity for one to gain a better understanding of ideal brewing techniques and the factors that will influence.

Guaranteed to learn something new!

Jared gave an excellent overview of several methods to brew great coffee at home. Particularly interesting was how to use a AeroPress to essentially make an espresso shot. Highly recommend taking this class even if you've been brewing at home for years. Guarantee you'll learn at least one new trick.

Thanks for joining the brewing class, John! I have been making some tasty 'iced lattes' at home using that AeroPress trick
