  • Fragrance of cocoa nibs with aroma of brown sugar and lemon. Flavors of lychee and matcha with a sweet aftertaste of lemongrass and yuzu. Bright lactic acidity with a tea-like mouthfeel.
  • This coffee has a really bright and interesting acidity at lighter roasts (about 90 to 110 Agtron) that we really enjoyed. As it is taken deeper into the roast (about 80 to 90 Agtron), the bright lemongrass and citrus notes are muted and an intense dark chocolate comes forward.

Finca El Mirador was founded by José Elicio Gutiérrez and Luz Elida Avilés in 1972 near the village of San Agustín, within the municipality of Planadas. The farm spans 10 hectares, of which 7ha are cultivated with Caturra, Colombia and Castillo varieties as well as the more exotic varieties like Gesha and Pink Bourbon.

They have achieved organic certification with the main objective to contribute to the environment with the conservation of soils, fauna and flora. The farm is cultivated under a semi-shade system, being more friendly with nature.
