During my career in coffee I've held many roles, from green coffee quality control to head roaster and more recently in trading and sales. I operate under the firm belief that in this life we get the opportunity to choose how we invest our time and energy, and for me, I choose to invest in helping good people make good coffee. I love getting to be the cheerleader to my clients and the sounding board to their ideas on how we can make this industry more sustainable and equitable. I am a huge fan of Brazilian coffees and tend to gravitate to any coffee that is sweet, nutty, and full bodied. In a cafe, you'll probably find me drinking a cup of house drip or a "Baby Bear" (cortado sized mocha).
