  • Floral and caramel fragrance followed by lavender and green tea aroma. Notes of black tea, brown sugar, rose and green apple with an aftertaste of lemon blossom and lemon rind. Sweet and mellow acidity of green grape and lemongrass. Medium bodied.
  • This is a very versatile coffee. We love keeping this coffee from Aricha at a light roast to keep all those fruit notes. At medium roasts the black tea and caramel shine through.

As part of the quality control process, fresh cherries are floated in water to separate lower qualities before depulping. Traditional disc pulpers are used and the coffee is allowed at least 24 hours to ferment before being fully washed and set to dry on raised beds for 10-12 days on average.

I have not roasted or ground them yet. I will do that soon.

Aricha never disappoints!

Aricha has been one of my favorites for years now. I am pleased to say that this year is no different, it's still great! Fragrance good, aroma good, bright, green/black tea, black tea after taste, maybe brown sugar but it's not that sweet, rose, green apple, lemon, green grapes. Espresso is fantastic, complex!
